What is "Gordeaux" and how do you say it?

Pronounced like “bordeaux” as in the type of wine, Gordeaux is a
playful homage to my nickname, which is “Gordo.” Gordo comes from my
maiden name of Gordon, and its definition is better for a food truck than what
we’re doing at Gordeaux!

Leadership & Coaching
I served on the GVSU Writing Department Advisory Board from 2016 – 2019. There, I worked with the writing department staff to observe classes, assess how the curriculum met the real needs posed by today’s employers, and make recommendations.
In my time as an internal communications manager, I coached executives on video messaging and created a monthly cadence of themed company-wide messaging to bring employees together and up to speed on company initiatives.
I have also worked as a learning & development specialist who led teams of subject matter experts to design training programs for technical skills. This role is where I began facilitating people skills training such as meeting facilitation, writing, and public speaking.
I held a leadership role early in my career amongst a team of talented technical writers. I helped that team establish an in-house style guide and implement multi-media approaches to the documentation packages we produced.
In college, I served as a writing tutor and composition class coach at GVSU during my studies where I learned to simply listen to the needs of learners.
